1. Please get your flu shot documentation uploaded to E*Value by Saturday, October 15, 2011! Tony will announce in class whether CVS can come to SR2 on Wednesday.
2. Please upload your CV, 3-5 personal goals, and 3-5 professional goals to E*Value by Saturday, October 15, 2011.
3. Please start working with your committees to prepare for International Day. It’s almost less than a month away on Thursday, November 10, 2011! Brittney and Trang will have a meeting with all of the committee chairs soon. Look out for the email!
4. Pharmacy Council has graciously provided us a coffee pot in the break room. Please take care of it – clean it out, remove trash, etc. Coffee and coffee filters have been provided; however, feel free to use your own coffee grinds and/or supplies. The coffee pot is there for the students to use as they wish. There will be a box for people to donate money, which will go towards more coffee and other supplies in the future.
5. The security of the LRC for College of Pharmacy students can only be maintained with the cooperation of all students. Only College of Pharmacy students, both professional and graduate, are allowed access to the LRC. Neither front nor back doors should be propped open at any time. Students found propping doors open will lose access to the LRC.
6. The University of Houston Student Government Association will be debating an issue of banning smoking on campus. Please take the survey HEREto express your opinion on the matter! Our Student Government Association (SGA) Pharmacy Senator is Rachel Harvey (P2).
7. Please adhere to the dress code. P2’s and P3’s have worked hard to bring the dress code to where it is today. We don’t want this privilege to be taken away from us, so we need to respect and follow the guidelines that are currently in place for the Dress Code. The Dress Code is intended to be self-regulated. Please do not come out of dress code. If you see someone in our class out of dress code, kindly let them know. Please contact your Honor Board Representatives, Audrey Nguyen and Katelyn Hobaugh, at [email protected] about any complaints or concerns that you may have. A copy of the code can be found HERE.
9. I have attached the updated Class Directory. Please check it one more time for accuracy. Next week, I’ll email it out one last time with new updates from this week. Everyone, thank you for your cooperation!
